Our journey and vision

Established in 2014, Trend Environmental Consultants was founded by a passionate ecologist who wanted to continue working in the environmental consultancy field while living outside of city centres. Trend was born from a rural property near Cardwell in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, allowing Emily’s passion for ecology and her clients to thrive.

Now with hubs all over Queensland, we support projects across the state while also supporting our employees in living where they choose.

With diverse backgrounds in consulting, farming, development, mining and gas, tourism, fisheries research, and conservation projects, we pride ourselves on delivering good environmental outcomes and quality service. We keep our clients' needs at the forefront of every decision, providing them with all available options to achieve the best outcome for their unique project.
